Don't judge a book by its cover!

Hello Friends! My name is Jennifer and I am the owner of Serendipity Books! I started this business after noticing the lack of books being offered at our local farmer's markets and pop-up events. I figured the best way to connect with our reading community is to start a home-based online bookshop! 

I'm 27 years old living in St. Cloud, Florida with the love of my life, my husband and our two daughters. I was born and raised in Orlando to Vietnamese immigrant parents; making me the first generation VietAmerican! Of course my dream of owning a brick-and-mortar storefront is the big goal... just not in this season of life! The goal will always be to have our own physical storefront to create and provide a welcoming and safe space for our community.

However, my daughters will only be young just this once. For now, I'm a full time: stay at home mom and part time: online bookshop owner. Also I will soon become an author! I'm writing my own children's book which will be published with Barnes&Noble Press and available to purchase on my website. I already feel like i'm living out my dreams!!! 

Having kids and experiencing directly the positive impact reading books with them has been deeply engrained in my mind that I feel compelled to encourage others to this extent! Reading to our children gives us the opportunity to instill an endless world of imagination. Creating a foundation of creativity within our children can be the biggest gift we can give them. 

I can go on and on about this subject but I will end this off with one more thing. Give yourself grace. Whether you're a parent or not. This ever changing world can be overwhelming. Give yourself grace, try again tomorrow and become better. Be kind to yourself, to your loved ones and your community. I believe it's the only way out. The way out is in.
